Do you have cupboards full of baby clothes that your children have grown out of but you can't bear to part with?
A memory quilt is the perfect way to turn those little outfits into a keepsake to treasure forever.
I can include lots of different types of baby clothes – t-shirts, babygrows, dresses, bibs and pyjamas are all ideal. Receiving blankets, cot sheets bits of duvet covers or curtains can also work really well.
For a standard size quilt all I need is 20-25 items of clean baby clothes, which I will piece together into a unique quilt top. This is then attached to cotton blend wadding using machine quilting. To finish, it will be backed with a soft flannel or fleece in a co-ordinating colour.
